Your Voice Matters.

How to Request to Speak:

1. Click the "Register" button below for the upcoming meeting.

2. Fill out the form.

3. Select "In Person" or "Virtually."

4. Click the Agenda Item(s) you want to speak on or select "General Public comment" if you would like to talk about a Consent Calendar item or a non-agenda item.

5. Submit your form. You will receive a confirmation email with next steps and meeting details.

Day of the Meeting: 

In Person - Wait until your name is called by the City Clerk, then approach the podium.  

By Phone - Call the number in your confirmation email. You can listen to the meeting on the phone until it is your turn to speak. A recording will prompt you once it is your turn.  

Helpful Advice

• Remember that you will only have 3 minutes to speak.
• Begin by stating your name and your city of residence.
• Keep in mind that legally the City Council cannot respond or take action on any item that is not already on the agenda.  This means that even if they want to respond to your public comment they cannot.
